Studio Mixes — Pro Tools Sessions

Full-song multitrack mixing: balancing dozens of tracks into a finished stereo master, with deliberate EQ, dynamics, delay, and loudness control.

Listen

Two full-song mixes, bounced from the Pro Tools sessions.

Bohemian Rhapsody — full multitrack mix, including the operatic section.

Space Cowboy — full multitrack mix.

The Work

Two full-song mixing projects anchored the quarter. One was a multitrack of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody — including the operatic section, which is a real test of arrangement, automation, and keeping dozens of vocal and instrument tracks legible. The other was Space Cowboy. Both started as raw multitracks and ended as balanced stereo masters.

What the Mix Practiced

  • Level balance & panning — building a stereo image where every part has its place
  • EQ & dynamics — carving space so vocals, guitars, and rhythm section don't fight
  • Delay & space — using time-based effects for depth without washing out the mix
  • Metering & loudness — finishing to a consistent, controlled output level

Why This One Matters

Mixing is the production discipline behind the cameras — the ear that the film and video work depends on. Knowing how a track is built, balanced, and finished makes every other piece of media I produce sound intentional.
